Identical twin brothers with years of experience in the home furnishings industry, most specifically with luxury bedding and American classic bedroom furniture, and with a very talented and well-known interior designer for a father, it wasn’t just an accident we selected decorative throw pillows as our trade. We grew up in Southern California in the kind of house that every room looked like a masterpiece of art. What made each room perfect wasn’t just the color coordination nor the beautifully hand-picked furnishings and artwork but how each room was inviting and comforting. What created such a homey allure was always the softness and warmth you saw in each of the perfectly positioned decorative throw pillows. And it wasn’t just the color, pattern, material nor size of the throw pillow that made the room but it was the ever important precise positioning and upright fullness, or as we used to call it – the “karate chop” that formed the perky pillow ears and full pillow belly. Yes, we grew-up with a true appreciation for not only nice home furnishings but more specifically how a throw pillow is much more than just another pillow.
